Her maternal grandfather was Hungarian and her mother escaped from Hungary in 1959. Her father was I believe Scots and German.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[Thanks so much for this post about Mongolian shamanism. I&#039;ve read two of Sarangerel&#039;s books and found they speak to me very powerfully. She passed on several years ago, you know, sadly for us. She was not Mongolian but that didn&#039;t stop her from becoming a wonderful teacher and shaman in that tradition, as she could be the one standing between the indigenous culture and the West, offering the teachings in an understandable way to Westerners.]]></description>
